Snowies and Glass Twinklers

An Evergreen Santa Snowie joins the Christmas Crimson one, and a new Snowflake design enters the fold!

The new Snowie lamps from Luxa make use of the same glistening frost-effect film that has made our Sparkler range the best-seller for the last two years. With the Snowies, rather than printing onto the frost-film, we first coat the outside of the glass with a metallic layer to reflect back inside all the light from the warm white LEDs, and then we cover this with a layer of either Christmas crimson or Forest green paint which has an amazing look and feel of satin. The really cool bit is when a fine laser programmed with our snowy mountain design burns off these two layers of paint back to the frosted glass to reveal a bright, sparkling Christmas forest scene with Santa and his reindeer flying overhead. Just awesome !

Also new this year, a new Winter Forest design for the Glass Frosty Twinkler with bright white LEDs in a random flashing sequence.

With a similar manufacturing process to the Snowies, the Glass Twinklers and Frosties retain highly-reflective metallic silver paint applied to the outside of the glass, and this then has the laser-etched design burned off it to take it back to the plain glass through which the amazing light display can be seen. In the Twinklers, a dozen LED beads flash 6 different colours independently whilst scrolling through 3 randomly-varying flashing speeds, the light from which is multiplied many times over by the endless internal reflections that fill the lamps with a kaleidoscope of colour. Lovely enough in the light, in the dark they project a wild and ever-changing and colourful display onto nearby surfaces.

The Winter Forest Frosty has bright white LEDs with a random flashing sequence, and it is lined with our glistening frost-effect film to give a sparkling icy look to the lamp. As with the Twinklers, a 6-hour daily-repeating timer function is included.
